John Heard - Community Artist

It was really cool when he told us that he recycles lots of things and makes designs, and art, and rain sticks.

He told us: 

- that if you want to be a good artist you have to love art and you have to keep making art,

- you need to love nature for many reasons,

- keep going to school for all of the years that it takes so that you can write and draw,

- he asked us what we want to be when we are older, Yaritza wants to be a dancer and if she gets fired maybe a teacher, Natanael wants to be a hip hop dancer and if he does not get famous he will be a hurricane scientist, Edgar wants to be a hip hop dancer and if he can't he wants to be a scientist and spy who fights crime, Luis G. wants to be an artist and an astronaut,

- being bilingual helps him to collaborate with other people, like when we work together,

- it is important to work together as a group and it is also very hard,

- always make good choices and do the right thing because when you have to make decisions you need to support them.

Nos pareció muy interesante como el  señor Heard con objetos de reciclaje diseña y elabora muchos proyectos artísticos.

El nos dijo: 

- Que si queremos ser artistas tenemos que hacer arte y sentir mucho amor por el arte.  

- También agrego, que tenemos que amar la naturaleza en el medio del arte por muchas razones y continuar nuestra educación todos los años necesarios  para poder ser buenos escritores y pintores.

- El señor Hear nos pregunto que nos gustaría ser en nuestro futuro: Yaritza quiere ser una bailarina y en caso que la despidan entonces seria maestra. Natanael quiere ser un bailarín de hip hop y si su sueño  no se cumple entonces seria un meteorólogo. Edgar también quiere ser un bailarín de hip pop y en caso que no tenga la oportunidad el será un agente secreto del FBI para combatir el crimen organizado. Luis G le gustaría ser un artista y un astronauta.

- Es importante ser bilingüe el señor Hear nos dijo, porque esto le permite colaborar con otros artistas mas fácilmente. 

- A veces  es importante saber como trabajar en conjunto con otros pero ocasionalmente puede ser un poco complicado. 

- Siempre tomen las mejores decisiones que puedan y hagan las cosas lo mejor posible, nos dijo,  Mr. Heard porque así podemos aplicarlas de una manera ideal y adecuada en nuestro futuro.
